Hi there!
I'm Makenna
In 2016, my family moved from the suburbs of Kansas City to a small farm in rural Missouri, and my world flipped. I went from knowing a thing or two about agriculture to being completely surrounded by it.
Through FFA and 4-H, I found a deep respect for the agriculture industry. I thought I’d end up in ag sales, and studied agribusiness at K-State with that goal in mind. However, during an internship with Purina, I got the chance to manage a Facebook page for a small-town co-op, and something clicked.
I saw how much this industry needs real, honest storytelling. Not just ads. Not just polished promos. But stories that feel authentic.
That’s kind of where Harmony Media started. I had this gut feeling and decided to follow it. One day on my lunch break during that Purina internship, I used some of the money I’d saved to buy my first drone, and the rest is history!
Today, I run Harmony full-time from rural Missouri, using video to help ag businesses grow, preserve legacies, and share the heart behind their work. I believe the best stories are rooted in truth, and I’m here to help tell them!
